Hey-O! I know it's been a lil while since my last blog post, but here it is now! Thanks for stopping by, I can't wait for you to read what I have for you today!! I'll tell you where to snatch some super cute fall finds, but first I'll tell you what this fall is all about for me right now.

First of all...
Fall is the best time of year. I love that at this time of year everything completely changes. This is such a transition time. This season is also one of my busiest with school and such. Each week I am met with a new challenge, and if you know me you know I love a good challenge. No but seriously, not only is nature changing in all its glorious beauty but even the attitudes of people are beginning to transition in preparation of the holiday season.
It's important to have a transition stage so that you don't go into shock. So as we live out this fall season, start thinking of the positive changes you can make in your life to prepare you for the next season.
"Failure to prepare is preparing to Fail."
This is one of my favorite quotes because it applies in pretty much any situation. When I moved into my apartment, I had to start cooking. (Which when I first started was pretty much a complete disaster, but hey I am still alive right? Haha.) This quote really applies to cooking because if you start to make dinner and then you realize you don't have all the ingredients, or you didn't preheat the oven, or whatever may have happened because of lack of preparation: you end up in a situation you didn't wanna be in (maybe dinner is one or two hours late, who knows?? #Relatable) It also applies in college #TooRelatable. Not preparing for an exam may result in a real fail. But hey, the great things about mistakes is learning from them!! Mistakes allow us to make the positive transitions in life to prepare for the next time around! So take five minutes out of your day to set some goals, and begin your transition to positive changes in your life!!

Now for the fun stuff: Clothes!
This super cute outfit is PERFECT for fall.
These high-waisted jeans are what I call a "ye ole faithful" pair. They always fit great and they go with pretty much anything you can imagine. I am OBSESSED with high-waisted bottoms. They are true to size. They are a black denim material. High-waisted-Greatness.
The shirt was a total experimental buy. I had heard a clothing site called "SheIn." And at first, I was super sketched out. I browsed and saw this shirt on sale for around $9. So I ventured out with a what's the harm attitude and ordered it! I am so glad I did because I was not disappointed!

I would recommend ordering a size up because the sleeves were a little tight on my arm. But other than that I love the fit and style of the shirt. I am certainly going to be ordering from SheIn again!
Another obsession I have: cardigans! They are so cozy and make any outfit look complete. I got a small and it fits true to size. The cardigan is great because it is not to heavy for a fall season in Louisiana.
Lastly, but most important: shoes. I got these flat slides last year from Imagine Boutique. Although they do not have the same exact pair, I managed to find a shoe similar to link below. They are comfortable & also match pretty much any outfit I put on!
